I recently turned 50 and I certainly love driving mine. On and off-road. And doing donuts in it.

Since I'm 35, I'm at the low end of the range for this, but I came from driving an F150 that I bought as my first new car (truck) when I was 19. I have no problem driving my little truck. Most of the guys that I see driving the "big trucks" nowadays are either contractors/blue collar folks that actually need the larger trucks or douchebags that very clearly have something to prove and use way too much tire dressing and never let their trucks get dirty.

    53. Third Tacoma. I traded in a first gen tundra for my current Tacoma. I think they are the perfect truck, unless you're a farmer, landscaper, carpenter or something like that.

Heck no! What I drive has nothing to do with age...it has to do with taste. I like to do the same things I did at 20...it just takes me a lot longer.

zactly. I still hike, climb or ski several days a week. I just make sure to fall less (it hurts more) and I'm more likely to take a beer break here and there. Still need to drive something practical that I can park on the side of the road and get out of the ditch when I find myself there

56 and I don't care what others think. I'm not really into making the truck "look" tougher. As I have aged I care less and less about material stuff and more about memories and taking care of my family. The truck is tool for me and has nothing to do with my identity.

Well its funny cause on the 3rd gen tacoma commercial it say something like "25 years old.... 15 feet in the air". I learned in business school that marketers (as a general rule when making commercials for adults) make the commercials SEEM like they are targeted for someone 10 years younger than they are actually Targeting. That's why you see relatively young people in adult diaper commercials or Viagra commercials-because the average consumer's self image is about 10 years off, haha. So according to that general rule, the 3rd Gen Tacoma commercial is targeted at 35 year olds. Do they mind if they sell Tacos to older or younger demographics other than mid-thirties? NO. Do you represent the target market for the Tacoma? NO. Toyota knows what it is doing, they have done the market research and have sold millions of First and 2nd gen Tacomas... I would bet my truck that the AVERAGE and/or MEDIAN age of everyone who will be driving a 3rd Gen Tacoma in the next 5 years is in their late thirties. Anyway @Shwaa, don't sweat it- your truck overall is designed for someone with a sense of fun and adventure, but at the same time can get the job done (usually those that do not involve towing over a couple of tons).
