I'd say that steak is well done. Seriously though, cleaning that especially if that is what your IACV looks like will make it idle a whole lot smoother.

Holy fawk your throttle body is the dirtiest I've ever seen one.

Clean the hell out of that, the IAC and your MAF sensor and I guarantee your truck will run a whole helluva lot better.

Pulled the dash apart to figure out why my dash light won't turn on. Fuses good. Everything else works, but the dash lights and ac lights. So I saying screw it. Running clean new wires to the bulbs on the cluster and change out to LED bulbs while half the dash is apart.

Moved the ignition wires to the other side of the head. I won't melt it next time around with the turbo. Just need to clean up my lack of patience with the electrical tape and get some clamps to hold the wire loom in place. As you can tell I really like electrical. ;)

Started replacing the rear suspension, No Lift... stock aftermarket springs. Be sure to purchase frame Bolt ahead of time. No truck this week because I had to cut the frame bolt. Not sure what I am going to do with shackle. I managed to push the pin out of frame busing. It is very tight. I did not plan on replacing shackle, just lube and re assemble.

Hey gents. Which part is this? My 2.7 prerunner doesn't have one but I seen it in a 2004 3.4l 4x4 with ADD.
It's the one with the blue label.

Now I need to replace my steering rack bushings and rear axle seals due to the abuse from this trip.

I'll probably refresh the entire rear axle as I have to weld new lower shock mounts onto the axle but it's leaking pretty bad on the passenger rear.

Okay everybody, need some opinions. Have searched and it's come to this. Stock 3.4 auto access cab (see avatar <--)with 4.10 gears and 285/75/16 tires. Do I go 4.56 or 4.88? 80% of driving is city with 20% highway. Daily driver. Trail riding has me occasionally wishing for better engine braking in first gear. Thoughts?

You want to change your gears because you occasionally wish for better engine braking?

No, for better mileage and overall daily driving. On the trails, it's okay, but it's mostly for daily driving requirements.

Think I read somewhere that 4.56 will make it drive like stock, and 4.88 will be better for wheeling.

I just put 285/75/16 grabber at2's on my truck I'm currently getting 18 mpg with stock gearing, from what I've read 4.56 is fine for a DD but 4.88 helps if you tow a lot.
