Can't you just take the repair costs, sell the vehicle for salvage then just buy a new one?

I would take it back and make them fix it right, and match it just like they should. Ask me why I say that.

Yeah, a body shop that does a crappy job isn't the insurance companies fault.

Always go to a reputable body shop. Always, always. I learned that myself.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Who was that guy who totaled his brand new Tacoma in the desert (and later bragged about scamming the insurance)? Didn't he also have a white taco?

Im experiencing a little de ja vu here.

    This guy I think:

That wasn't that bad. Doesn't look like he did enough to total it.

The dude who took his Raptor on a 90 foot ride is a bigger idiot.

It doesn't matter. YOU deserve it repaired the right way. You have the RIGHT to get it fixed to the way it was before the wreck. Do it, and get it back to normal.

Insurance won't pay up. Shop quoted me 2 k out of pocket to fix, including replacing the left rear fender which was fucked up due to an accident that happened at the dealership 3 years after I picked it up, separate from the crash, which they didn't notice the first time. Had brought it in for oil change and they decided to give me that complimentary wash. Stupid driver backed it into a poll with spikes, punctured the fender right near the bumper and bent the bumper to the right.
