Ok here's a non BS post!

I finished the thing yesterday. Ok so when I was tearing it down I noticed everything was new... Like it was the exact same timing belt kit I bought. I was mad! The dumbass who sold it to didn't know anything about it, he only owned the leaky POS for 3 months. Ok so it had a new radiator (fender bender), new timing belt, new bearings, new water pump, and a mysterious horrible leaking main seal. Once you started it you'd get a drip every 4-5 seconds. So I took the crank bolt off, pulled off the gear and the seal literally fell out! It had a brand new seal in it that WAS COMPLETELY WRONG AND UNDERSIZED! I think he might have mixed it up with a cam seal? :notsure: anyways my new Timken one (thanks @MatthewMay1 ) fit snug as a bug in a rug. Smeared some RTV around it too to be safe. Anyways... I put a new timing belt in again (since the marks were gone off the other one) and a 170 thermostat. Everything is good to go. No leak! :woot:

    Sorta bad news...
Well the stupid thing is a little busted up up front. Half of the grill clips are gone and being held on with zip ties. Also each headlight has broken tabs... So I can't even mount the headlight trim pieces back up... Kinda frustrated with that but I'll figure it out. It has a detail appointment on Wednesday. Gotta pressure wash the underside and I'm debating tinting the winders before the detail... Hmm

Oh yeah speaking of that!! So Sunday around 1:00 I put the timing belt on... Was all wrapped up at about 6 pm! Then after a test drive and snack we said screw it and I tinted my best friends whole dodge! 4% over 20% in the back, 15% on the fronts, and I did my first brow! All computer cut, high quality metal flake tint! Finished in less than 3 hours I've gotten really good at tint

Edit: K my snap chat story expired so I don't have a pic of that but I'll get one!!

What are your guys opinions on these? 40% tread. $250 for the set. Only a P rated though... I need something for this thing... Espcieally if I'm gonna flip it... The KM2s are literally almost slicks. Or should I just invest $500 into some brand new retreads...

At the detailer right meow... Had to heat gun off the rest of the window visors this morning. Hopefully they clean off the excess glue and 3m tape haha
