I think the parts might be stolen or he's really dumb. Asked him he wanted to trade cash and my stock grille for his and he said, "No jus Kash". I asked him if he had a stock grille to replace the aftermarket when he sells it and he said "No.".

In all honesty those sliders arent a bad idea for someone who wants weld on strength and a an easier step placement.

Story now is he traded his 2015 tacoma for 2015 ford f150 and just kept the aftermarket parts. Seems sketchy.

This is good advice. I have been shooting and carrying for 40 years almost all of it open carry. A couple things I learned are:
    1) the heavier the revolver/pistol the more important a good, stiff, properly fitted holster is.
    2) the belt is essential, it should be 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" wide and resist twisting (heavy leather or, if you must nylon) to properly support the holster and thus the firearm itself.
    3) and this is the hardest one to learn: It sometimes takes buying and wearing several holsters before you find one that really meets all your needs.

Personally I use leather or balistic nylon (cordura) for open carry, but also like to use used a Blackhawk Serpa (hard kydex) for my Glock pistol. The hard kydex are great for CCW as a proper one fits the gun snugly, takes up little room of it's own (smaller = easy concealment), but everyone has their favorites. I have several of the soft inside the pocket soft holster things, but never got them to work satisfactory for me.

I am a lefty so holster selection is much harder, or I custom order stuff. Holsters are very much a personal choice thing, YOU have to be the least uncomfortable wearing it.

I asked the guy if he'd lower his price on the grille. He said he paid $650 for it and he'd only come down to $475 from $500. Hustlers gonna hustle I guess.
