Yep. At speeds of 70+ mph the snorkel wants to shake a little at the top so i'll prob drill into the A-pillar. I was gonna do it anyway but meh.

Anyone here have a bestop? Im trying to get some replacement clamps so i can add a couple more on each side and take some flex-seal and seal it up for good(except the tailgate, nothing can be done there).

 

nope lol. It doesnt go up that high. Its prob sitting about halfway up the windshield. I understand your tentativeness to drill into the a-pillar, but i have no such reservations haha

 

For what its worth, I drilled my A pillar on my 1st gen. It is rock solid and no leaks. Just dab some rtv on the plastic inserts before screwing the bracket on.

I have family that have a pretty sick 3 story log cabin vacation home there. We have been up several times during the winter to tinker around on the mountain snowboarding. Seems like a nice area. Wish I owned the place.

Well, went to get my truck cap installed and they shattered the flip up glass above the tailgate. they decided that they were in a rush or something and decided that they should a power drill to tighten something on the glass. im no glass expert, but im pretty sure its common sense not to use a power drill to tighten things on glass... to add insult to injury, they didnt even get all the broken glass out of the damn bed. i havent seen this kind of incompetence in a while. stay away from the leonard truck accessories off rivers avenue. theres no excuse for cutting corners like that when theres only one customer in the whole place (me). Needless to say, im genuinely perturbed at this. now i get to wait three more weeks on the damn cap.

 

That so sucks!.. I would have kept the broken one and got my money back.. Then order the back glass..

 

I had problems with window tint.. This idiot did it three times hard bubbles and lent all in it each time I finally asked for my money back took my 15 to another guy he did it perfect.. Took the old film that was taken off .. Balled it up took it to the guy and said thanks but I got it fixed
