I may have been wrong; looks like you have all your mounting holes still intact. Been a while since I messed with stock skids...

    Very nice progress btw.

    Thanks man.
I put all the skids back on this evening and found the mounting holes were all there.

Took the bed off again today. I've got to weld filler plates over the holes I cut in the bed.
I drained and filled the rear diff fluid.
I noticed some weak metal in the rear bumper support so I cut it out and welded a plate in it's place.

    Pretty cranky today.
Yesterday After pulling the bed off I figured I would install my hiddenhitch.
Two of the ten bolts that hold the pictured crossmember on were previously broken off.
One more had it's head stripped off by me as I was removig the remaining eight.
To get at the broken and damaged bolts to drill and tap them again it looks like I have to take the leaf springs off both sides of the truck.
    Not happy

Awesome build, man! Wish I had the time and patience to pull off something like this... Keep it up!

I have the suspension back together in the rear end. Fixed some additional things in the back end like broked off bolts and improper bolts being used to hold things together.
Got the tow hitch cleaned up, painted and on the truck. Got everthing on the back end of the truck undercoated with Rustcheck.
A before and after picture of the bottom of the bed. I used a wire brush to get aditional crud off of the bottom of the bed that I wasn't able to access with the pressure washer last weekend.
I welded plates over the holes I cut in the chanel in order to weld new nuts in for mounting the bed to the frame.
Some of the worst of the rust is touched up for the time being under the bed.
And finally the under side of the bed is undercoated and ready to be put back on the frame.
