    Alternator ended up crapping out on me last night. Either the dirt messed it up or it was a pos one from Advance Auto. Just took it out and will be taking it into Advance Auto to warranty it.

    Pay the shipping, i'll send you one. When i bought my truck, the dealer had put a new one in it. I didn't drive 500 miles before i put an oiled TRD in. So that one is mint. You can has.

    It's just the way the BAMF kit is... Or having a 12" shock is really... There's a compromise. If you mount your lower mounts even with the axle, you get good clearance and then more droop, but less up travel so you have to extend bumps almost 3" inches to avoid destroying you shock. To fix that you then mount the lower mounts hanging below the axle but then you get less droop and are susceptible to rocks. I just hate that I hit my bumpstops pulling out of driveways fast...

    Hmmm. My BAMF and king 12" setup seems fine. Sounds like you need to rotate your axle mounts a little. Seems odd you would hit bumpstops from a driveway.
    I'd rather have them sit slightly lower then be smackin bumpstops all the time. Just my .02
    Pics? Curious where they are set?

    Thats a bummer. Could always cut and replace with new ones. Judging by your build doesnt seem like its something you couldn't handle. :thumbsup:
