    Fair point. I'll shut up.

I'm still new here, still trying to get a feel for the place. The first few threads I posted in were trolled to hell and back, but everyone seemed fine with it. I figured that someone who was afraid of radio waves was a valid target. My bad.

AM and FM and EMR? I'm more worried about the infrared coming from every star and black hole in the sky. Especially that big yellow one 9 million miles away. That one is too close! How can we remove it?

Truthfully, if EMR is going to be a problem, we are in the late 1950s where doctors and researchers are finding that smoking is going to kill everyone. That's IF EMR IS GOING TO KILL US LIKE SMOKING.

Just think about it from other people's shoes. What if someone asked how to keep their tacoma from driving off the edge of the flat earth?
    Maybe it's something like that.

The fuss comes from the absurdity of the situation. You are using an electronic device (your computer) to ask about the electronics in the vehicle because you want to lower the amount of radiation you get. Yet you are driving a machine that uses explosions to travel at lethal speeds, while crossing through all sorts of other signals (wifi, radio, cell phone, etc).

Your concern is for something that has never been proven to be detrimental to health. On top of that, the part you are focused on is so incredibly trivial that it would make no difference.

The LCD, GPS, and bluetooth is the diet coke you got when you ordered a super sized big mac and fries...it makes no difference.

I guess for me it just seems real. I don't want to wait for a professional scientist to say it's harmful. They may never and I don't care.

I can see the LCD and GPS, which I now know is a receiver, to be minimal in terms of EMR. As for Bluetooth I do not know. I have read experiments where plants near WiFi transmitters have trouble growing or do not grow at all. Yet, plants grow just fine outside in the middle of all the radio, cell phone, infrared, and other electronic noise. For me, being that we are mostly water and are electric beings, such tests are simply enough proof. Maybe it depends on the frequency of the EMR and whether our bodies absorb it or it passes straight through. I don't know, I'm not a scientist. Like I said, it is a personal preference.

People will believe what they want to believe and they have every right to. But hearing tests like this makes me be cautious. If you question such experiments then why not run them yourselves. But don't attack a person for his personal beliefs.

and I can't wait for scientists to prove that childhood vaccinations are harmful. That is why I don't get my children vaccinated. They are all dead now

Yes, emr is absolutely harmful if you are exposed to it in enough quantity. Most things that cause cancer are cumulative. So what amount of emr is harmful over what period of time? Nobel Prize for you if you can figure that one out. But you know there are reasons that cancer rates in the world keep increasing, and radiation is absolutely that culprit.

That said, LCD panels emit some of the lowest emr amounts of any electronic devices. Those old television sets from the 1960s-1990s emitted far more emr (hundreds of times more) than do LCDs. And the early analog cell phones of the 1980s-1990s also emitted huge amounts as well. The new ones are much much lower. There is a reason why cell phone manufacturers must publish this information and there are FCC regulations.

To the OP: If avoiding emr is a primary concern for you, the first things you should do is to never use wifi, never use a cell phone, and make sure to be far away from any nearby cell towers or power lines. Basically, move out to the wilderness and you will be safer. But you can take your truck with you, because the amount of emr emitted by your truck is very minimal by comparison to those other sources.

It's like the guy who orders 2 bacon cheeseburgers, a large cheese fries, 2 chili dogs, and oh yeah I'll also have a diet coke because I'm trying to lose weight!

Don't forget about radio and TV broadcast transmitters, those put out tens of thousands of watts. Driving a fossil fuel powered vehicle is WAY more hazardous to one's health than the invisible RF energy that bombards us all day long.

Can you use the info-systems to send and receive Texts like the Colorado. The Colorado will read you a text while you are moving and when you come to a stop you can read it on the screen. Pretty cool feature! Hope the Tacoma has it too.
