There's an AC LB 4x4 OR at the Toyota dealership on Merivale Rd. in Ottawa, but it's an Automatic.

That's above MSRP, the DC Auto Sport with the Upgrade is $40,585. They might be adding accessories though.

Really disappointed that Toyota Canada still isn't offering us DCSB's with the TRD OR package or an A/T. Prob wouldn't spend what they'd ask for them either. Will have to stick with my US import.

Way to go Toyota canada! You almost nailed it! Forgot to offer the dcsb off-road or even just the sr5. I guess I'll import an American truck to get what I actually need for 30k. 1st gen Tacoma still a fantastic little truck.

Also why does the Tacoma have different tow ratings in Canada vs the USA?

    Canada Limited: 6,000 lbs
    USA Limited: 6,600 lbs

    Typo maybe.

I've heard bad things about Squamish Toyota, never been there myself since they close early and aren't open Sundays, but when I did call them regarding the 2016s the salesperson was quite the jerk and ultimately told me to go somewhere else. He had no clue when they were coming out, if they were getting any of them, or anything really, wasn't impressed that a girl knew more than him, probably.

    Yes...

Look at DCLB TRD Sports Can vs. USA are both 6400 regardless of bed length. What I did miss was the 6600 was due to 2wd. Either way, weird to be less than prev gen.

My truck just arrived at the Dealership, the salesman just sent this picture...

    2016 Tacoma Limited.

Hoping to pick it up on tomorrow.

I will post more pictures and a copy of the Sales Agreement once I pick it up.

Congrats on your truck. I thought the limited models had an upgraded 18 inch wheel or is that a USA only thing?

Just out of curiousity, do the Canada trucks come standard with a block heater? It was always a dealer installed option for the 2015s, but I don't see it mentioned for the 16's.

I read that it's mandatory for some dealerships (most of Canada), and not for others (BC Lower mainland)

Does anyone know if the Canadian Tacoma's come with a Factory Skid Plate?

Can't seem to find it listed has an available accessory on the Canadian Toyota Web Site.

I think it was listed on the trd offroad... still doesn't say diff lock for the 6MT trd offroad tho, or auto rear view mirror. Nothing about trans or transfer case or gas tank skids tho.

I asked on the other canadian thread too, but curious on opinions of extended warranty and Diamondkote protection... Did any of you consider them? I like the idea of the protection, especially extended warranty with the new drive train, but $$$.
