I've been torn about the road noise on these... I said in my first post right above yours that it was tolerable on the highway, and it wasn't horrible... But I've driven soft-top Jeep TJs with mud tires on the same trip, which is honestly truly brutal. We've had to have ear-plugs in to keep from going crazy...

The tire noise definitely is there though, the people who have been saying "no noise" or "little noise" don't seem to be completely accurate. Definitely noisy (but within limits) compared to Rugged Fails

yea i guess i was just hoping for a tire with a very noticeable difference in nose compared to a MT but i shouldnt have expected it. no expectations no disappointment lol
i think its the bigger side lugs that are responsible for the noise because my buddy has the older generation and they are not as loud as these
i still love the tires though. hopefully i can get high milage out of them.

Completely stock suspension with 265/75/16 tires. I think it fills everything out nicely and obviously is a fairly easy option for an aggressive look and decent performance without sinking money into a lift.

Thats what I wanted to hear. Mine go on today, that exact size. Notice any power loss? MPG loss? Did you have the Rugged Fails on before the KO2s?

I have the 265/75/16s and definitely felt a little power loss and lost a little on the MPGs... They are a pretty heavy tire.

My average is 16.4 right now with 265s. Best was 17.6 (mostly highway tank), worst was 15.3 (lots of full blast AC, city driving, and idling).

Hmm. Ok. Well I popped a Rugged Fail last week and they were wearing quickly anyway so I didn't want to buy another one. Getting the KO2s for $770 installed. I have the manual transmission so I'm hoping to not lose as much power since it's geared so low. I guess I'll find out soon!

Definitely a small loss in acceleration and stopping performance due to the weight of the tires. Chugging along at 75mph on highways it will have to disengage the torque converter and shift down to 4th even when going up some hills. In the city the gearing feels fine though and it honestly doesn't feel drastically different, just slightly.

There was a small hit to fuel economy also, but again, more-so in the city when I'm spending more time accelerating rather than traveling at a constant speed on the highway.

So in summary, a small negative impact to acceleration, fuel economy and braking. Dry traction seems worse than before, wet traction seems better, hydroplaning resistance is better and offroad/snow traction has been phenomenal. I came from 265/70/16 Rugged Fails. Overall I am happy with the decision and wouldn't go any other route.

I'm excited, it's at the dealership right now getting them on. Hoping I notice power loss even less since I have the manual.

They fit just fine for me, no lift.

I had mine road force balanced - they are smooth as glass. Also, i got them to mount all weights internally (more for asthetics)

Mine did great this weekend on the beach, aired down to 15 psi. Also averaged 17.5 mpg home from the beach, then to the NC mountains.

I just got 4 KO2's installed last Thursday by a local Discount Tire shop. Took it out for a test drive on a rainy day (wet road) this weekend. The rear wheels were spinning when turned at a stop sign and I wasn't pushing the gas pedal hard. I was going/turning slow, around 7-10 mph.
How are these tires handle wet road for you? Especially when turning/cornering on wet road?

sunday i drove home on the interstate for 4 hours in constant rain and wet roads and had no problems with traction issues...i do however have issues now with squeeky tierods and a squeeky carrier bearing. i guess from driving 65-70 mph through constant rain

They should do fine in the wet, mine do better than stock. I would check your tire pressure. When mine were installed last week they set them all at about 38 and I was losing traction on dry pavement with just a moderate amount of throttle. Lowered to around 32 and I have great traction in all conditions.
