So by simply having Bilstein 5100's installed in the front will accomplish lift in the front?

Just watched the Bilstein informative video on youtube in regards to these shocks. Very Impressed and also pleased that I can do some lifting without damage to anything. Ive heard the typical nightmare stories about how everything begins to fall apart after lifting.

    Hahahahaha!

A simple spacer or a 5100 will level you out the same exact way and your control arms, ball joints and tierods will all be in the SAME EXACT POSITION with either one so they will all wear the same. This site is EXTREMELY biased towards the 5100 shock for some reason and pretty much every new person who asks gets the same canned response. I've ran them and wasn't impressed. :notsure: They're a simple way to level a truck as is a spacer. They both suck off-road IMO, but are perfectly fine for street driving. Nobody bothered to ask what you're using the truck for.

Also, if you're just looking to "level" your truck, you really won't be able to fit much bigger tires than you would at stock height. What size tires do you want?

I hated my spacer, so I wouldn't suggest anyone purchase one. For what 5100's cost, there isn't really an excuse to run a spacer.

Explain to me what you disliked about your spacer that your 5100's eliminated.

First off, shitty ride quality. I fully understand that the spacer didn't directly effect the ride quality. Buttttttt, I regret purchasing the spacer that simply raised the vehicle without providing any added bonuses. The bilsteins "improved" my ride quality and I was able to lift the vehicle to my desired height. Second, the spacer lift limits your ability to adjust ride height. The 5100's allow you to change the height if you ever decide to do so. Why would I spend money on "plastic" if I can get a set of shocks for $100-$200 more?

How many miles were on the shocks that you were using with the spacers?

100k were on the factory TRD bilsteins. At that point, it would have been beneficial for me to simply buy the 5100's and skip the spacer lift. Not sure why anyone would buy new shocks and add a spacer lift to accommodate for a lift.
