Vinyl Inserts for the Tailgate

If anyone is interested, I can offer vinyl inserts for the tailgate lettering in a variety of colors and patterns, similar to this. If there is sufficient interest I will post details in the Buy/Sell section.

WARNING: Please beware that at least one other Ebay seller is using one or more images from this forum to sell their vinyl decals and refuses to remove them. While I find this flattering, you should avoid sellers that refuse to show the actual product that they are selling.

 

I would be interested in seeing what white vinyl on the mag gray would look like if someone could do a shop if it looks good i would buy some

Wouldnt a can of plasti dip do the trick as well?

 

No because there are no hard edges to peel off to get the nice cut edges of the letters.

 

I feel like using a credit card or a tool like that while peeling it would allow you to make it work

Matte Black would be my choice. Same as B pillar material and I am in.

 

Nope wouldn't work, you could try and report back but it wont be worth your time. You'll be doing it for hours.

 

Yea I am not going to buy a 2016 and a can of dip just to experiment for the 16 owner's. If I had a 16 I would try for the cost of a 6 dollar can of plasti dip. But the $6 for the can and then the price of the truck is to much for me to care what happens, lol!

 

Go find someone who has a 2016 and let them buy a can of plastidip then report back trust me it wont work like another said there are no hard edges to have even straight lines

The plastidip may work, but the key would be taping off the area, that might be a bit tricky with the curves.
