Its ok honey, that's what the new 2015's sound like...my 2011 didn't sound like that because of the smog equipment on the newer models.

For the most part I do to but it would've been hard to get her to understand that I need a new lift after I just installed a new one 2 months ago.
She's all good with me ordering my BAMF sliders and skids next week.

That must mean mine is almost ready! Hate these lead times but the final product is so worth the wait.

Haha! Jerry to the rescue. I've written off the majority of TW and woke up this morning and read this shit?
Hiding/being deceiving about what money you spend only makes me ask what else you hide and be deceitful about to your significant other.

On that note, didn't you say you have some SB sliders that were over stock or something that you could have brought to the meet in Dublin? If so, are they still available? If not, I'm going to place an order for some here shortly.

Nothing for me to hide other then the $3200 I just spent on my suspension. I hate dept so I payed cash for my 2015. And being there is almost 40k less in our savings account then there was 2 months ago she might get a little pist that I'm spending more.

Haha like said above, I dont deceive at all about spending, i pay pretty much 90% of the household bills, and I tell her as long as all of our bills are paid and we throw a bit in savings, spend whatever the F you want, I dont care, Im going to lol

Not in the purse, but in her bedside table drawer. I completely understand where you're coming from, but you're in a different situation as with just about everyone is. Your livelihood (to an extent) depends on trucks and modifying them. It's understandable for you to buy the best. My wife HATES offroading and all that associates it. Took her once to Hollister and she wanted to leave 10 min in and will never understand or enjoy it. It's something I never showed interest or had her experience prior to our child being born, so I never knew her stance on it. It is really hard for me to explain to her why I need a 1k set of coilovers or a supercharger (which I might not, but it's something that I enjoy). Not to mention we are a limited one income family, so I can't just say "you buy stuff with your income and I'll buy with mine." My build is 80% used parts and typically I can justify 75% of the purchase price by selling another part or flipping parts. These are all things my wife won't care to hear since she doesn't want me to do it anyways. I know it's not the best practice, but it's what has worked and she does the same thing with clothes with me.

Embrace good debt. Money is a game. No millionaire will say they hate debt. There is good debt and bad debt. 30 grand in credit cards...yeah that's bad debt. 30 grand in a vehicle loan...YRMV but I've never thrown away free money. 0% interest for 4 years on a brand new truck...yup, sign me up. Not going to pay cash for anything if I can finance it for free and keep my funds to use elsewhere. Even if I just sat on it and left the cash in savings, I'd still make more than if I outright payed cash for the vehicle. Not only that you keep your assets liquid for the "upgrades" you inherently will want.

I'm failing to see your logic. My livelihood doesn't depend on trucks. My wife doesn't work (other than on her tan). Hell, she only uses my credit cards.
