Yea my wife doesn't give a shit about my truck purchases as long as bills get paid. She doesn't trip about all the meets and trips either. I'm just working on trying to get her out to more events

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Yeah It really doesn't have anything to do with trucks my wife is not into trucks or off roading I'm talking money in general my bow, fishing equipment, my boat my guns whatever I want I buy I don't have to ask for permission to spend my money. Yes when were buying something together we talk it over to see what we both want. It's the fact you have to hide or lie to each other about what your spending money on is what becomes a problem it's a bad pattern to be in and the day you get fed up with it and want "your balls back" it could be the end of a marriage I'm just saying.

Sorry guys, quick derailment question here; are there any specialty toyota shops in the bay area? Something like a downsouth equivalent. I'm not trying to mess with 4WPs.

In all honesty guys, everyone's relationship and lives are different. So we can't really compare shit like that. Everyone has their way of making shit work, and we have different sacrifices. To each their own... including how they live their life ;)

Well, just bought a 65" 4k Ultra HD Sony TV... Looks like there goes the truck budget for a bit... but damn, this thing is awesome.

Sara keeps asking "what is it that your doing to your truck"
My response "making it like @JLee 's truck so we can do better trails"
Sara "hmm okay! As long as I have that toilet when we camp"

She knows it's my money so she doesn't trip, I feel pretty lucky! If I ever get a "look" I just point at the diamond on her finger and she smiles and starts talking about kittens.
