After joining the Pac-12, Utah is finally starting to become a team to take seriously. I can fly my Ute flag proudly again. It was a cold wet game in the stadium seats Saturday and I didn't get home until 1:30 AM but it was worth it. Finally the 11 game win streak of tough ASU team came to an end. Utah handed ASU 2 points with a stupid safety on a forward pass in the end zone.

We're going to get another beat down in 2 weeks. Lambert sucks, Ramsey sucks, might as well put Bauta in and see what happens. Could even try some option offense with him. If Richt insist on sticking with Lambert I think we will do good to finish 7-5 and make a bowl game. And btw what about running Turman? I know he was hurt at the start of the season, haven't heard anything more about him since.

I can't day we are now, in consistent QB play and the loss of Chubb changed the offense badly and our D isn't living up to the hype.

I see why we get such a bad rap as Dawg fans. I see so many are excited headed into the Cocktail Party saying we will kick their asses. A lot are talking about our D for the performance against Mizzou. I guess they don't see how bad their offense is. Yet if I say anything bad I'm not a true fan.

Alumnus and Hartman fund donor here! I consider myself a true fan, and I'm sure you do too. I think we have been given plenty of reasons to at the very least question what the coaching staff has been up to in Athens this season and in prior seasons. For example, why wasn't anything done about our quarterback situation way back during Aaron Murray's last year, or when Mason was the starter? How does a so-so player from Virginia transfer to UGA and become the starter? That's a lack of proper recruiting. Furthermore, due to the lack of reliable quarterback play we have no deep passing game. We have had a few attempts deep, but it doesn't seem like any defense is worried about our deep ball. We miss Chubb, but Michel is a great back, and could probably start anywhere else not named LSU. Our offensive play calling has not really changed any from last year has it? We find something that works; usually running the ball. We will ride that horse till we get into field-goal range, then we inexplicably abandon what has gotten us that far and end up settling for a field-goal attempt, or a turnover. The defense is a tough one to figure out. It may be a pretty good unit, and then again it may not be. I'm sure the players get worn out when the defense works it's tail off to get a stop or a turnover, and then the offense can't possess the ball for more than a couple of minutes before putting the defense back out there (usually in poor field position). Finally, can we please, PLEASE get a special teams coach? Now, I'm just a pharmacist. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a football expert, and I could be way off base with everything I just typed. However, it seems like when Georgia plays another team, we go out of our way to make sure that team or at least one of their mediocre players (Dobbs) has the best game of their career.
