dont believe you posted this particular one. But your more familiar with the mountain than me. I got a friend who wants to find it, and ive veen itching to drive my truck up there. He told me schemerhorn/lower tower road is paved and wide open now? It was rough as hell a few years ago. I went up it with bcc and my professors outback could hardly make it. I believe Schermerhorn is closed. @js312 is that correct? There is a gate at each end.
I have never come across a cemetery in there though. I would like to know if there is one.
I think there are some other "ruins" in there that the s.f. staff know about.

yes, there is one for sure. Theres a youtube video of it as well. I think it was some of the whitney family visiting it. My friend said it was schemerhorn that he went up, and it was a good road. Even sent me a screenshot of the map. I really have to get my ass up there.

You can go down some of Schermerhorn, but at some point you will hit a gate. From the bottom it's closed immediately even though it's paved. At least, it was closed last time I went by there. Maybe a month and a half ago?

I'll have to go up at some point. I thought it was odd that they closed it to begin with when they leave the rugged stuff open and just mark it "poor condition."

I'm curious as to what Washington Mountain Rd. looks like. I have never been anywhere near that one and it's marked the same way as the Ashley Trail. The Ashley Trail was not something I would go through again.

Wonder why this is open now?
I saw two EP trucks going through there last weekend when I was parked at the overlook. Wondered why they never came back up. They must have gone through.

That one is in bad shape and very closed in.
    Wash Mtn Rd. hmmmm....
Never saw that one. May have to investigate. That looks to be one road I have not been down. I know where that is too.
