I'd like to see how the 2016 caps fit on the tailgate with the new tailgate spoiler.

We have a dodge with a cap at work and it has a similar tailgate spoiler and it looks pretty dumb with a cap. The top of the tailgate is really wide and the rear glass hatch sits on top toward the front of the tailgate... It doesn't sit flush with the rear. So you end up with a cap that looks like it is too short for the bed and doesn't follow the lines of the truck.

Saw an F-150 and it was the same way...

If it is a 2015 cap on the truck, that might be why they are not showing the rear of the truck.

Here's mine. I have a silver loaner right now until the MX series comes out in black but this should give you an idea of what the fit looks like. IMG_4530.jpg

Would you mind posting some photos of the door/tailgate area?

Is this ARE V series loaner meant for '16 & does the top of shell sit flush with top of cabin? There was another previous thread stating shell was an inch higher...thx

This is in fact meant for a 2016 long bed.

I will post a picture of the tailgate a bit later. Also, I took it through a few rain storms and it kept everything inside nice and dry.

Would be interested to see how the windows of the shell meet the windows of the cab. The 2016 cab has no space below window for rail below window on shell. Now the bed is almost flush with the window.

Wow, what options? I priced one a while ago for a 2gen and it was about $1800 w/ tilt down front window as the only upgrade.

IIRC.... sliding front window, half sliding screen windows, and dome lamp. I didn't order the top racks, but I did order the roof railing track system (for potential future use)

I found two dealers in my area that have SnugTop Rebels in stock (DCSB) in my truck's color that have the carpeted headliner and folding front window, interior light and standard sliding side windows with non-removable screens for $1649 plus $50 install fee plus tax. Neither location had an XtraVision in stock, but I saw one in person in a Tundra the other day and the XV definitely fits the truck better than the Rebel, just not sure if it's worth the extra loot. I don't need any extra add-ons aside from a carpeted headliner and folding from window for cleaning purposes.

I've got one of these coming as well, minus the tent. ETA is beginning of January.

For those of you with the Rebel, or have ordered the Rebel, I'm guessing you like how the side windows look? I ask because I love the look of the XV, and appears to aesthetically blend with the truck better, but it's several hundred more. The windows on the Rebel just look out of place with the rest of the truck, sort of outdated, but will say it looks better on the short bed than it does on a long bed for some reason. The SnugTop dealer said both shells are identical in stock form, same shape, same rear window, etc, and the only difference are the side windows. I'm torn between the two. I'll never sleep in the back of it, and don't need any fancy features aside from a sliding, folding front window and carpeted liner. The side opening windows are a really nice option, but not at an additional $125 per window. I got quoted for a stock Rebel at $1649 plus tax plus $50 install fee, that includes carpeted headliner, interior light and sliding, fold away front window, which seems to be the average price these go for new.

That seems a little high. I was told a supersport would run about $2250 + tax.

I don't know a whole lot about these and there differences. My understanding was that the XV just had bigger windows, which wasn't a necessity for me, so I went with the Rebel to save a few bucks for other goodies.
