image.jpg Hello everyone, I recently just bought a 98 tacoma double cab sr5. It has a lift kit on it right now that I'm unable to identify because it has all been painted black. I can tell that the springs are blue and the coilover shocks are white. Any idea? The truck is clearing 33s with a 2" body lift.

met a couple last night from california . They said people from CA always say "hella" haha and yep, they are hella Rusty Sicyota04! Nothing some paint can't fix! The shocks could probably use a re-valving. Those coilovers are just hanging out in my shed. I have them listed locally for $100.00 for the set.

Why did you take them off? Is your truck stock height now? You didn't want your truck lifted?

I replaced all the suspension components on my 98. Ball joints, tie rod ends and the CV axles. I thought why not replace the coilovers. Got some Toytec coilovers. I kept the lift. Have it set at 3" to clear my 32x11.50 tires. Rides a lot better. Those Fabtechs were pretty bouncy. I didn't want to mess with sending them off for re-valving and bushings etc.

My truck is also riding pretty rough. Will bilstein 5100s work with my fabtech coils?

That all depends on how old and what rating the coils are at. My Toytec Coilovers came with Eibach Springs and they ride really well for a pickup. It's not a car ride by any means but they soak up hard bumps fairly well without feeling like the dash it gonna fly off. lol
