DB is also working on a 20" lightbar option. The group buy for the 05-15 grilles showed that the cubes were the favorable design, so that's what he worked on first.

I'll be that once you get the letters color matched to the truck the lights won't stick out so much.

But yes, I can see what you're saying. :anonymous:

Isn't too bad, but I can't stand the dots/snaps little mini bolts all around it. Makes it look cheap and shoved in there. :p

The stainless bolts actually hold the grille in place and you have the option of powder coated hardware.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas. Being 22yrs Military, I do take honest criticism very well. The button heads is more of a cosmetic type thing and I can easily powdercoat them black. The "little" lights by Baja Designs do put out some juice btw.

I will have 3 versions of the grille...with cubes / without cubes/ 20" single row version...unlike bigger manufacturers, we are able to customize it to your liking with some exceptions...we build everything in-house and take pride of what we do...danny

    DB,

I didn't realize the designer was in the thread. Low SA on my part, so I guess I gave you an unfiltered opinion. :) Take my comment with a pinch of salt, I am never a fan of the mods where you can see all the rivets (of any kind, really...flares, whatever). That said, I think powder coating those button heads would improve the look factor to me, at least.

I don't want to steal ToyTec's thunder / SEMA Tacoma build or post pics of the grille were building for them. But, we are powdercoating the button heads on their truck. Just nobody has asked for it. Just one of the options we can do for you...db

Pretty small cubby hole, what the heck are we talking baby wallets here? :D
I don't own the truck but tested one here only a few days back, I liked it overall actually.

What wheels are those? I love the stock Sport rims personally, but those look good with the silver.

I actually like the bolts around the grill. Gives it an industrial look. Black would be better though. Looking forward to seeing the other versions. I prefer more simple things (no lights or name).
