Are the TMF ($1100), PIO holdback ($88.20), and Financial Reserve MSRP ($392) profit items as well?

Well, that's a good sign that a 7545 with the FP may eventually exist.

If you get the chance and don't mind, will you see if its possible to order a 7545 with the FP package. According to that quote I posted earlier it should be a viable configuration, Toyota just hasn't made any yet. Do you have any thoughts on this or a way to see if they have become available as an order request?

I would like to know as well. The press release documents from back in august say this is not possible. Would be awesome if it is!

Yeah.. according to that neither a 7545 with FP or 7543 with FP are viable configurations but @Letsgoplaces says he has a 7543 with FP on the way. Hopefully those documents are wrong!

EDIT: So for whatever its worth, one of the dealerships I am in contact with claims they can order me a 7545 with FP package.

Not all customers. I prefer to go in and state what is your best deal you can give me. A dealership should honor such a request from a buyer. There is no need to haggle back and forth from my point of view. No need to high ball or low ball a potential buyer. Either the deal will work or not.

If I have a trade I have a dollar amount in mind of what I am willing to pay with a trade in. For me its two separate transactions. One, what the dealership is willing to sell the new vehicle for, and two what the dealership / customer are willing to agree on a trade in price. If both transactions are satisfactory to both parties, a deal can be struck on the new vehicle.

One reason I like no haggle dealerships, AARP car buying service, etc. A few minutes of time and one can see if a deal is possible.

I went in knowing there probably wasn't going to be much wiggle room from MSRP given how new to the market the 2016 is. I figured if I could get between 800 and $1k off sticker, I was doing okay. I dealt with the fleet/internet sales guy, so it wasn't a back-and-forth for an hour - it was basically, here's sticker, here's what I can give you and it was within my 800-1k range, deal done!

I'm with Mike on trade-ins and keeping them as two separate transactions, in fact, I try not to even let them know about any trade-in or even how much down payment I'm planning until we have negotiated the price on the new vehicle. My biggest complaint on the trade-in is the dealer ALWAYS wants to start with auction price. Why does Kelly Blue Book even exist? I also went in knowing that my trade (2011 Mazda 3 with all the bells & whistles with only 14,540 miles and in almost new conditions, no door dings or anything) was worth anywhere between 9,500 and 11,300 and told myself "anything over 10,000 is acceptable, they gave me 10,500. Part two of deal done.

I was able to get 1.99% through a credit union the dealership used and I don't think I could've gotten better than that on the open market by arranging it myself.

I have found 2 Toyota dealers in the Phoenix area (both no haggle) which you sit down with the sales person, pull up Kelly Blue Book and rate your trade vehicle for trade in. They honored the KBB trade in price. One actually went a bit over KKB due to very low mlles.

That is generally how I handle my deals. If customer is upfront an straight with me, I will always be the same to them.

I have you on my list (that is a good thing Chris). I most likely will be looking for a dealership on the east side of the valley (phx). I live in Payson.

trust me, a Tacoma in AC config is never good for kids. your kids will outgrow the small area faster than you think. we had one with our kids and it never worked. if you have kids, hell even for dogs its too small, I wouldn't get an AC.
