Don't mind the dirty ride, she'll get a wash tonight, but finally had the BFGs installed. They ride much quieter than I thought and feel very planted to the ground. Thursday the 5100s go on to level her out and I'll post some updated pictures then. There's been a few folks asking about these tires on stock wheels so wanted to post them up. Purchased from Costco for $818 out the door.

Did Costco install them for you too? I was told in the past that Costco would only install "stock" tire sizes on vehicles.

Wonder how this will affect acceleration and fuel economy... I've debated putting 265/70 (stock size) or going up to 265/75s but I really don't want to muck with the MPGs and performance as it's already a bit slugging IMO

Yes, they installed with no questions asked. All the installers were actually digging the look. Performance off the line seems to be the same, but I've only driven it from Costco to my office a short distance so haven't had much road time yet.

One of the other things I hated about going bigger on tires for past trucks is what I like to call the "Driving on Beach Balls" effect ... taking a curve on the interstate and say you hit a bump in the road...feels like you're going to skip /bounce over into the other lane...

Those look great. I have the original KO's on my current truck and I've always been impressed with them off road and in snow. The KO2's are even better.

BTW, those are my favorite Tacoma wheels. I kind of wish Toyota would have put those on the TRD OR.

I prefer the SR5 wheels and chrome bumper to the Off Road Wheels and Color Matched bumper on a White TRD OR.

That looks great! I really like those SR5 wheels and grill on SW. Did you tint your front windows already too? If so, what %?

No rubbing at all. Plenty of clearance at full lock. I'd imagine you could fit 285s with very minimal well trimming if at all.

Fronts are Llumar medium tint. Not sure on the percent, but they look darker in the picture than they actually are.

Nope. That size can be had in load range C, D and E depending on which manufacturer and model. The majority are E FWIW.
