To the OP. The work in your photo looks nice. I think you will have buyers, but you'll have to give good instructions on how to place them in the proper position and adjust before they fully adhere, as well as work out any bubbles. Or you'll have a raft of complaints. Just saying. It's not the same as laying down a windshield graphic........ a little more patience is required.

If it were mine, I'd find a local guy who does old fashioned vehicle lettering with paint and/or pin striping, and have the letters filled it with the color of choice, and maybe outlined in an accent color. Or just outlined. But hey, I like hot rods and subtle craftwork.

Sometimes wrap, computer cut vinyl and dip can be appropriate. Sometimes the next level is even better.

I completely agree with you CB. I am currently doing this to my truck and thought that I could easily scale this out if there was sufficient interest. The challenge is indeed the application of the vinyl to the recessed letters cleanly. I am doing several test runs of the application process with non-permanent test vinyl too determine the easiest method that minimizes the possibility of bubbles and ensures a properly aligned fit. It will definitely require some patience to get it right. If all goes well I should have some matte black letters ready for sale next week.

The thicker the vinyl, the less chance for error and bubbles.

Since the bumper is black and red... I would be interested in black too...satin black as I think that replicates the door wrap.
