Truck is at the dealership today. Coming home on Sunday over the SNQ pass I got a P0103 this time. Felt the same though, lurching and losing power.

 

WTF

 

So truck was at Michael's Toyota of Bellevue. They wouldn't even look at the truck because I had cleared the codes. I gave them the codes this morning and told them I cleared just to see if they would come back. Not sure why they didn't just tell me that this morning when I dropped it off? Not sure what the thinking behind that is. Like am I going to screw up my work day just to go down there and give them bogus codes to waste every ones time?

AKAIK, Michael's Toyota is arguably the WORST dealership of all the car dealerships I have been to:
Drove up in the Yeti, waited 15 minutes for a service advisor to even greet me or say "Someone will be with you momentarily".
Spoke to the "ass"istant-GM and what I got out of it was that I wasn't worth his time or I didn't spend enough money at the dealership for him to care.

"F" those guys and it starts with management or mis-management.

 

I've had nothing but good experiences at Rodland Toyota in Everett, drive right in and within seconds someone is there to see if you had an appointment/what you need. Most of the time its before I even open my door to get out. I always go through Steve in service, head of the red team.

 

Yeah Rodland is pretty solid, ive been there a few times.

 

I go to Titus-Will in Tacoma or the new down town Seattle dealership and never had a problem, but my truck only has 11,000 miles on it so I haven't had a lot of shop time yet. I did go and test drive a new 2016 at Michael's and some one came and met me before I could even get in their door.

 

I bought my truck and had all the servicing done at Magic Toyota in Edmonds, they have taken pretty good care of everything I needed so far. I've heard the service dept. at Rodland is good but the sales guys wouldn't give me the time of day when I was looking to buy my truck.

 

Toyota sales guys not giving you the time of day? Uh they drool whenever I step foot on a lot its gross.

Uhh, it's now the Cle Elum salt flats. We should do some racin'! Just make sure there's no rain in the forecast or we'll be fishing you out downstream!

 

Because Michaels Toyota sucks. If it's not by the book, they don't touch it. I will never deal with the service dept there again. Better to go to Toyota of Seattle.
