None yet. Vehicle on order. Due around Halloween 2016
And don't forget it...Just kidding. I understand what you were saying. I would have done that but...
    A. The $250.00 over offer was from a dealer far away.
    B. The second dealer had already ordered for me and the price was not yet final. I was sort of committed.
    C. The offer was made way after my initial contact and would have added weeks to my TOD.

I will take any advice on how to purchase from anyone into consideration. I'm always looking for ways to improve. What Taco are you driving?

Hmmmm....I bought same truck exactly. Paid $38972.00 OTD (paid $980 over invoice) I hate to say it but TDA is dealer ripoff.

Truck should be here tomorrow. Pretty happy with the price, but could probably have done a little better if I waited a few months. Its worth it to me to have it now for $500-$1000 more versus waiting.

    DCSB Limited 4x4 V6
    White
    Tow Package
    Tonneau (which I didn't want)

    $39,103.44 including dest $950, doc $299, and TDA $1100.

Offered $500 over invoice and dealer agreed. He found one and directed it to dealership before I had even decided between sport and limited. After much communication, discovered "gulf states" invoice is higher and according to dealer there is absolutely no way to not pay the freaking $1100 gulf states TDA. I still think this isn't a bad price for a Limited. Best of any regional dealer I could find.

I did get them to agree to throw in new bed rail caps so when i remove the Tonneau I don't have those ugly cut outs for the latch down points.

Still feel i'm getting screwed on the 1100 somehow. no way that is all TDA!?!?

Will check the actual invoice and build sheet tomorrow when the truck (hopefully) arrives. Hoping to offer them $40,000 even if they include the 7 or 8 year extended warranty.

I would drive outside of GST just not to pay that. I'm a nice guy but they can shove that up their ugly assessment

I was quoted msrp last night on an AC TRD OR, and offered 26k for my 2015 Mustang GT Premium with 4900 miles.

Needless to say, I'll be selling the car on my own. I was willing to take a bit of a hit on it - but not that much!

does not include TTL & Doc fee.

dealer invoice is suspect as I don't think it includes the access roll up cover where the other prices do of $530

I received two quotes for a TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB not including TTL

    Dealer A $35,908
    Dealer B $34,241

I still have to meet with dealer B to talk details because the communication has only been email thus far. Dealer B wants to offer around invoice pricing and Dealer A doesn't want to drop below MSRP AT ALL.

Thanks kgb, that's very helpful to hear. I'm only $131.44 above what you paid and that's not worth getting worked up about - even though TDA is a ripoff. Car commercials are why I never listen to radio and hardly watch local network TV other than news.

Well here is my quote. Not sure how i feel about it but i never was good at negotiating, if I really want something, i usually get it. So what do you guys think?

    ----------
    2016 DCLB TRDOR = $34,340
    Prem/Tech/JBL pkg = $3,035
    Tow pkg = $650
All weather mat (inc: door sill) = $179
    Mud guard = $140
    Mini tie down = $45
Exhaust tip = $100 (yes, should have been $90)
    Bed extender = $300
    -----------------------
    Destination = $900
    -----------------------
    MSRP: $39,689
    ---------------------------
    Quote: $38,245 + TTL
    ---------------------------

$500 Over Invoice is what I paid....That means $500 over Invoice INCLUDING all the dealer fees.

One cannot claim $500 over Invoice then pay the junk fees on top. That would be $1400 over Invoice. My deal would have been $749 over Invoice if I did not include the Doc Fee in my offer.

I offered $500 and no more over the invoice price reflected in the attached. Without the $1295 worth of Dealer add ons. (They left them on the truck anyway at no charge)

Who knows what they really paid but I felt that was fair, and obviously the dealer did as well.

Thank you, Good to know. I have not seen the actual price list before so i went with TrueCar which i see many here do not prefer.

I already put $500 deposit, not sure if refundable. Ordered about 2 weeks ago, in anycase still no build date. What are my options? So looks like they quoted me $1747 over invoice. I see folks here pointing to good deal being $500 over invoice, thats how much you paid.
Is $1747 over invoice that bad? I guess it depends on ones bank acct. but is it really worth potential buyer rejecting the ordered truck?

I guess if anythinf i can say No if they decide to add any surprise cost like TDA etc cuz I did agree on that price + TTL, nothing else was written on the order sheet

Your deposit is refundable. There is a dealer here in SC that was selling at Invoice via email. Florence Toyota. Shoot the internet dept an email asking for a price.

The truck is worth what YOU think. Not what I thought. Would I have paid that much? Not a chance. But many feel it is worth MSRP. They will likely keep the truck for 10 years,

Everyone has a different sense of values, I need a low price to be able to sell it in a few years and buy another new one. That's why I pushed for Invoice and agreed to $500 over. I saved $1500+ which will come in handy when it's time to sell. My dealer knows my MO....He knows I will be back in three to buy another new truck or a 4 Runner. The residual value is effectively even better when one saves $2000 up front. That and no effective sales tax makes that doable.
Plus I get to keep all my mods and transfer them to the new truck.

Good deals pay off for years.....

Wow. You don't have to be a lawyer to read a contract. Did they let you read the contract before you signed it? Or did they force you to sign it, against your will?
