Don't do it man, it is a huge cash grab by the Dealership's.

The only thing I have ever done is the undercoating and I did that after I took possesion of the vehicle and the guy allowed me to watch him apply it at about 40% of the Stealership cost!

The warranty on Powertrain is 3 yrs. is it not?

Nice! I was thinking of doing the same when I eventually buy my Tacoma. Are you going to remove the TRD stickers?

de-badge looks great. Personally I'd de-sticker too. Warming up to the Sport, although maybe I'm just getting less resigned about not having the Off-Road MT in the states

    some people say do it.
    others say don't

also depends on what you plan on doing with the truck. If you plan on changing any aspect of it don't bother. second you change something that warranty is void.

For me, dealers tell me warranty I say its useless. The first week I had my car the warranty was void. First month I already had a stage1 tune.

    Nope

Crawl is only on the TRD Offroad which only comes in Access Cab in Canada

Nothing fancy to Toyota, google how to debadge a car and it'll show you how. It was quite easy as its all still so new. Heat gun for about 10 seconds about 4-6 inches away from the badge, then use a piece of dental floss to saw between the double sided tape and the badge (not between the truck and the tape). I used the floss for the first letter and anything that was a bit more difficult, other than that I just pulled it off, all the badges came off in one solid, undamaged piece, but be careful as they can break. Then just pull the tape off with your fingers.

I guess this is for real, just about to take off the last accessories in preparation to drive 6 hours to pick up the new one tomorrow. Driving my taco today made me kinda sad I'm ditching it way before it's useful life is over, and the fear of the unknown has definitely started to kick in.

In the end, I guess we're all in this together...
