It was pretty bad. The passenger died, but the driver only got a broken arm somehow.

This last picture is how it stopped when it crashed. the mash of metal on the left is the WHOLE cab, engine, truck and everything. To the right of that is the trailer part with the top ripped halfway off.

Sorry to be a killjoy but I'm not too excited about looking at pic of a wreck in which someone died. Normally I am intersted in seeing what happened/how the vehicle faired etc, but when someone got seriously hurt or killed, I think those pics don't need to be seen for 'entertainment'.

Ok story as follows. Its a swift truck full of patatoes. The driver was goin on bout 24 plus hours of no sleep while the passenger was in the back sleeping on the cot. At approx, 645 am ( dont remember the exact date) in may of this year, the driver was driving down 1-7 south headed for phoenix. The truck ran over the guard rail going 80 mph aroung all the curves in the road just before the sedona exit, the truck continued to drive down the hill at that speed till it slammed into the rocks and trees at the bottom.

My friend has a wrecking company that is called to the scene of these things so he called and asked me for help.

The driver did survive. And he has told dps officers over and over again that he did not fall asleep. Also there were no problems with brakes or tires or anything.

What the officers concluded is that he was falling asleep and driving wrecklessly. I believe he was charged with manslaughter, But i do not have all the facts on that.

No this is not the kind of thing to joke about in any way, i just wanted to bring it up that this stuff happens, and we need to look out for it every day. Yes it is tragic that an innocent life was taken.

And i didnt mean to put this up as "mocking the death of that man". It was hard working on that crash that day, knowing that a life was taken.

I just wanted everyone to see what happens out there and thought some of you too might have some pictures and stories. Sorry for not posting story before hand.

    Thanks all for reading.
