For some odd reason my abs and my check engine light cam on today, on the way home from work. I have no idea what it can be ill be taking it to my toyota dealership tomorrow morning but I'm worried will my mods void my warranty i paid so much extra for

    Mods:
    satoshi grill
    Hella 5100 behind the grill
    Hid headlights and fog lights
led lights all around interior and exterior

Any guess if it will ??

I don't see how a grill and some lights would void a warranty on ABS brakes. That would be a huge stretch for the dealer...

I would not worry about it... I had an K&N Air intake on my last truck took it in when light came on. There was no problem with them at all and it was under warrenty. I had just reoiled the fiter and it had sucked it up to the seasor and the cleaned ti for me......

it's less about voiding the warranty as it is techs just don't want to work on vehicles that are modified. the average person that modifies knows their vehicles in and out and can tell if a tech moved something or removed something to bring the vehicle back to stock. plus when it comes to engine performance, all factory specs are provided for a stock engine.

The only things I could see being a problem are if you damaged factory wiring when installing the LEDs, or if your HID electronics are of poor quality and are feeding noise back into the vehicle electronics.

The only time that a MOD will void the warrenty is when the MOD is directly responsible for creating the problem in the first place. I called Toyota and their warranty department directly before I started to MOD mine and that is what they told me.

    Roxspin72,
Do you know if the TSB is out for the 2010 "harsh ride"? I would like to get the 4-pack installed on my truck, but the dealer is saying it's only for the 2005-2009. The rear leafs are the same part # though. Thanks

I had the Ready Lift before my 5100's, and it is light and day for this mod. Back end has the TSB 4 leaf upgrade w/ 5125's:D got that back up light plugged into my trailer hitch outlet...

4 Leaf TSB is for all 2nd Gen Taco's. But the actual TSB write up reflects only up to 08's I believe, with the exceptions of a few 09's... Be persisstant and you will get it done for your 2010, if not it will be just a matter of time til you see an actual TSB # for your year...
