Nice idea...How water proof are the lights and the fitting of the gasket that you installed? Have you tested with a hose or in the rain

Maybe my explanation wasn't that great, but the way I ran the wires they are completely concealed and can not be seen at all. From the light it goes under the headliner to the driver side of the truck. Down behind the panel where the back seat belt comes out and then forward underneath the plastic door jam covers and up behind the dash to the fuse panel.

Sorry, was talking about outside, the exterior. I guess it'll be hard to hide it without limiting the movement/adjustment of the lights.

Definitely interested if the price is right. I'd like to know more about the wiring as well.

The lights from the manufacturer are 100% water proof and have an IP56 rating which google describes as: "IP56. Water from heavy seas or water projected from jets shall not enter the machine in any harmful quantity." here is some more IP rating information http://www.dsmt.com/resources/ip-rating-chart

I have had the lights on through several torrential downpours both on and off the highway with no leaks or issues caused the gaskets on the lights or brackets.

Yeah you nailed it. It was very difficult to completely hide the wires and keep the full range of motion. I opted for this design so that you can get the most adjustment out of the lights. In the future I hope to optimize this further, but the first production run of the bracket will be the design you see in the images.

But thanks for the suggestion, these are the types of "improvement" ideas I am looking for.

I haven't gotten my hands on a 2016 to check in person yet, but from the pictures it doesn't look like it will be a direct fit. But I definitely want to make them for both the 1st Gen and 3rd Gen.

The first run will be for 2nd Gens (because I have direct access to one... my truck). Then I want to make them for both the 1st and 3rd Gens.
