I traded in my 2005 dcsb a year ago to get the wife a car.
Im next to get a vehicle, at first I wanted a camaro, browsing the camaro forums those things have more issues than tea in china. Plus on the 2016 Chevy shortened the warranty period. Plus I have a 5 year old so hauling her in and out of the back seat would get old very fast, and I know the first time I get stranded in snow I'll hate myself
Then I thought about a wrangler, some people I work with have some, all stock, all approaching 80-90k miles, all nickel and diming them on repairs, I test drove one and felt like a was driving a 20 year old vehicle with a worn suspension, I just gave a guy a lift to the Jeep dealer, his has about 80k miles he says he has electrical gremlins.
Then I thought about a used fj cruiser, again with a 5 year old not having a true 4 door would get old fast, and if I'm gonna get basically the same gas milage I might as well have a bed I can use.
I looked at a ram 1500 but the shitty Chrysler reliability will always be in the back of my mind
F150's and Silverados are too expensive
I stopped by the Toyota dealer and immediately liked the 2016 dcsb they had on the lot, I might wait until this time next year and hopefully get a '16 on a end of year sale.

Has anyone seen the blazing blue pearl in person? Is it similar to the 2nd Gen speedway blue? It looks dark on my phone. Has anyone seen the orange in person, I was leaning toward it, it looks like a dark flat orange on my phone. I'm a little bummed a would need to get a $3k package to get a sunroof so I'm debating on that, does anybody have a '16 with a sunroof?

Tell us what you haven't considered; that might be a shorter list.

Try to wait it out. It seems the 2016 have a number of small problems which I think Toyota will have a fix for them. Please review this forum for problems customers are having with the 2016 taco. Right now is not a good time to purchase one. Try to wait toward the end of the 2016 year by then maybe these problems will be resolved by toyota

Wait it out until the issue's are resolved!I personally don't care for the new 3rd gen.but if were to be interested in purchasing one i'd wait until all the problems are resolved.

^Good advice, wait a year so you don't end up as a beta tester for Toyota...

F150 is too expensive? Don't price out the Tacoma.

Just my personal opinion. It can be hard to want to wait on making a purchase on something that you desire and especially is all new for the most part.We all know this! Not sure of the TW threads in relation to the issues but search the 3rd gen.section.There are topics discussing what's going on with the new Tacoma.

So many people scared to buy because of problems, I guess we should never buy any vehicle then.

Fuck me. I forgot to use sarcastic font again.

BTW, there seems to be something wrong with your phone/computer/typewriter/smoke signals/whatever the hell you are using to post. It seems to be deleting the space after every punctuation mark.

I have not read of a single "problem" in this forum that would have given me pause......That what warranties are for. Many are OCD issues normal with new vehicles... LOL

Saw the Blue at the Seattle car show recently - Very pretty...However, not a bright as Speedway or Raceway Blue of the past. They had a Tundra in Inferno - Really like the color, it's orange with a hint of red added. Was my #2 Choice. In the end I ordered a Barcelona (Same as my 2010). Build date of Nov 30.

The only probable concern is the engine and trans. Pretty much everything else on gen 3 is a carry over
