Nothing like buying a new truck then needing to buy a $1,200+ bumper to make it look good

 

No kidding, its a shame. Not sure what they were thinking when they pushed the lower valence out like that.

 

I bet it has to do with some stupid pedestrian crash rating thing. I can't see any other reason they would have given the new taco such a huge chin

 

Is say give it a couple years and they will start cutting it down and making it look better.

 

Or made the grill THAT large... Funny how the trends go, seems like not to long ago cars had no grills

 

instantly nostalgic. i had a 1998, loved that car. probably one of the best cars i've ever owned

 

Somewhere on here is a photo that shows the bumper off the 2016 and it's the same crash bar and location as current tacoma. I think it's in the Sema build thread, I'll see if I can dig up the pic.

 

There was a article that came out earlier this year I think, Motor Trend, that had all the full size pickups going head to head. I noticed then that all the car companies had heavily changed their grill design to be more prominent. It seems as though they all drank from the same koolaide because the similarities and the changes all seem to follow the same format. Enlarge grille and Include fancy headlights.

 

I wanted a 98-01 GS-R SO bad for so long, it's unreal. A Championship White 98 ITR is still on my lottery list. The only problem with owning an Integra GS-R / ITR around here is that if the rust doesn't get you, the thieves will.

 

A coworker just painted his wheels championship white. He's got an Acura
