Yes. That's why my price is lower. I'm guessing a majority would rather buy 2 sets of skids at $400 each than 1 set at $800. I myself would take that risk. I'm a gambler though.

That's how business works. Make a better product, make a cheaper, more basic product, or fill a niche that doesn't exist. Choose 1. Don't choose 2. You will not profit as much as sticking with one.

It was tuned properly. It doesn't ping and it's not blown or down on compression. The engine is not designed for 10psi of boost. And I ran the fucker hard.

Is 10 psi what the stock TRD blower produces?

And if you "ran the fucker hard" why are you blaming Toyota for reliability issues..?

    Wait..

so now you're going to just drop a 6bt into it and hope the stock tacoma drive train can cope with it? Also..how the hell are you mating a 6bt to an r150? Genuinely curious.

So you're not putting a body shell on a dodge frame..

    im confused...

    what are you doing?

Cause, if your slapping a 6bt into a tacoma..then sweet.

If your just swapping a body onto a dodge hacked up frame...i...don't get it.

    Ouch. That sucks.

You might be able to push the pins out and then remove the small pieces of left over wire. Then just attach the pins to the wire that is hanging off the truck.

But that may be a bitch..

To do it right I wouldn't like that, the ends have been out and exposed to oxidation.

Figured just wanted to double check (Toyota clips start to look alike)

Worst case you just get a new blinker like some people have done, but you should be able to push it out

No tacoma drivetrain. He was saying that the trans, case, and axles are all Dana products, not Dodge. You know, the same Dana who make super strong, bullet proof Tacoma frames.

Bought it! Spent about a year looking for a quality 1st Gen Taco and this baby showed up at a used dealership in NH (originally from Florida). So pumped to start making this my own. Just bought some Husky All Weather Floor Mats today. K&N intake, Winter tires and aftermarket bluetooth to come before the snow. Glad to be here!

What I don't get is, he's basically taking a dodge without sheetmetal, and having to redneck engineer a way to get a tacoma body on it. The ONLY reason why he would want to do that is to make it street legal.

Otherwise just build a cage on the body, throw some seats in, and call it a day. Much easier, much less money, more badass.
