2014 v6 engine knock at 1500 RPM

    As the title reads... I get some knock generally as soon as the truck shifts in to third gear and RPMs return to about 1500. It's worst when I'm very light on the gas pedal. Any ideas?

    V6 auto 2700mi.

    I just filled up with 89 the other day. I will ask the dealer about the ECU flash. And I'll hit the DL zerks.

    Had the ECU flashed... TSB #0044-14... Runs smooth again. Thanks for the help fellas.

    Guys - I'm having the exact same issue, tried dry gas, Lucas and still a knock at low rpm when engine is working slightly. What is ECU?

    Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
    ECU = computer that runs most of the truck's systems (EFI, Trac/Atrac, ABS, etc.) There is an update for that computer which the dealer can install with their nifty-fancy electronic whizz-bang tools.
