    Man I have always loved the 'function' of those windshield eyebrows. They really are a great idea for several reasons. I just get the feeling I would get ragged for them looking too nacho or something.

    It could still be pretty awesome..

    Im not saying its a bad idea..but i am on the band wagon of why not just make a buggy and keep the truck if all you're using is the body of the truck..

    I think a cummins swap into the Tacoma would be sweet, but this franken-fab, hack, and hope idea sounds prime for issue on issue on issue.

    Ok I don't know why I'm wasting my time because no one actually keeps an open mind around here but... The Tacoma frame is a twig. A 6bt would snap it. The dodge frame is not a twig. Why not use the dodge frame instead of reinforcing the entire length of the Tacoma frame? Either method will take cutting, grinding, and welding, so pick which one is easier or costs less. My initial guess is the dodge frame is cheaper. Removing material vs adding material. The drivetrain is already in the frame. Leave it there. Modify the frame. Then put the Tacoma cab on the frame. Diesel Tacoma success. Sounds easy. It won't be.

    Did you ever stop to think that the reason the full size frames are the width they they are is because they need to be? They aren't narrow in the engine box and flare out around the cab and bed. They're equal width the entire way down.
