Still a little weird you don't always get the warning when positioning the truck in the same place.

Makes sense. Sensor is reading low at extreme angles.....as long as the fucking pressure is good I'm now where near as worried. My dumbass got scared and did not have time to process what actual light was displayed. I assumed low pressure because of these threads and made an ass out of myself. I apologize for my ignorance.

By Toyota's design. I never said it was a smart one! No break's sliding backwards down a hill is NOT fun. Best practice is to stop and put it in N or R before you roll back

This is not a Toyota design .Aisn Seiki design the A750e for the tacoma and there are provisions in place to keep this from happening
Now depending on what gear the transmission was in while going up the hill before you come to a complete stop may have something to do with it .
Regardless mind you , the truck should not stall , in fact this is the first time I have heard of the problem and why I stated I am looking into it .
What year is your truck ? I am not doubting this is happening , just curious as to why
For the record , I can drive my 2010 up a hill and coast backwards while the truck is still in forward and it will not stall . This is the how the transmission is designed and why I am interested to hear more about your issue .
Here is a thread I started on some of the problems and fixes with the A750e

So we have had 3 reported problems (not counting OP's stall) and two have been user misinterpreted.

Oh man I feel all silly and crap. ...
Now I would feel even sillier if you could take your truck park on at least 30 degree incline (nose down) wait for low oil level message to show up, than rev to 3000 RPMs for 3 minutes. Just to make sure its not oil pressure showing up... :D
    Make a video too...

    Eat shit, BlueT.

To those that continue to believe the constant lies that BlueT puts out, let this hopefully be the point where you realize he knows nothing.
