Anyone have directions and parts needed to fix driver's side window? I got as far as getting door panel off and feeling around to see if everything is on track. Motor runs but window does not move without help. It will go down with slight push but will not come up unless helped, I can tell that motor is working and everything seems to be on track but it does not have power to move. I just found this forum and am so excited to fix my truck myself!

Well the motor can be purchased separately from the regulator. I purchased one on eBay, the whole motor and regulator assembly, for like $40 though. Seems to be good quality. Came with a 10 year warranty too. It's not too hard to replace. The window needs to be unbolted from the regulator first. If it's the same as mine, there's two bolts that hold it on. The track has to be lowered to the access hole to unbolt it. Remove the window, then unbolt all the bolts holding the regulator assembly, roll the window to its middle point where the tracks are flat, and remove it from the inside. Replace new assembly, wiggle the window back In the side tracks, and down to the regulator track. Bolt it all up the rest of the way. I have a write-up that I just haven't posted yet. Can do it tonight if I can remember for ya if you want.

toendanger , thanks so much for the tips, i bought the entire motor and regulator assembly. the tricky part was the power window plug access, it is behind the speaker so i had to take the speaker out. Success! I'm so pleased that this cost me just $50 instead of the over $200 the shop quoted! Thanks for the empowerment.... now on to the fun stuff!!!

Thanks again! The second picture above is the old assembly the whole thing is just OLD, and can't grab anymore! Now my driver side power window is the newest part on the old girl.

It's a good idea to get some yes. Because more often than not they break when pulling the door panel off. It'd be a good idea to get a trim panel wedge tool thingamajig to pop them loose so that the tabs on the door panel that hold the clips dont break as well. As some of mine are broke. Which is the result of just pulling the door panel off by hand.
