I don't think much. At the reservoir I know there is not.

I had pretty decent service through Whitney Place Rd. with AT&T.

I keep meaning to go up and see that last road, but I keep leaving work late. Probably won't get to it tonight either.

Just noticed this. If you're talking about the reservoir at the end of Whitney Place (the one that they drained to work on the dam), I think I had several bars of LTE there.

About half way through Whitney Place Rd., I was seeing about 2 bars of 4G...I called about the abandoned van when I was at the van.

I just yesterday went down the road that leads to New Lenox ,There was a Rav4 parked in the middle of the road I beep the horn a couple of times and finely a guy shows up. there was no way to get by or turn around at that spot .It was ruff for a Rav . He was walking up the road to find a place to turn He pulled off to the side and I asked him if was going to go all the way through . I told him it would be ruff but he could make if he was carful. He stayed behind for a bit and then turn back , Probably a good idea. My Tacoma of course had no trouble !!

Sure. Scenic overlook is easy to find.

If you're talking about Whitney Place, a Rav could do it without too much trouble as long as they pick the right ways around some of the rockiest stuff. Ashley Trail would be too much for one. It was tough for my truck due to my wheelbase. I was hitting on the running boards in places. Would be a piece of cake for something shorter.

Assuming the gates are open, what I have seen of Schermerhorn is in really good shape.

The one I was thinking of was the main reservoir in the s.f. I think it is Oct Mtn. reservoir.
I got no signal down there.

Ah, not sure if I have been there.

I haven't noticed losing service on any of the other roads, though. But, I have AT&T and in my experience other carriers didn't bother to cover the rural areas in our fine 1/3 of the state so if that holds true to October Mountain I may have an advantage.

I'd join you if I weren't at work.

I'm mostly curious about that Washington Mtn Rd.

Yeah, that is what I was going to hit up. That is the only road that I haven't been down in there (except of course Ashley Rd. which is more of a trail than a road :D).

    Oh....and Shermerhorn Rd.

Would be great to go out together sometime. There are some good roads up in Savoy s.f.

Wouldn't recommend Ashley Rd., as I've said. The worst thing is there's no way to turn around so you get to a point where you're thinking "I hope this doesn't get worse because I can't back up a full mile"...then it does get worse. I went through it from North to South.
