    Yup, and old people. Old people are right below my sliders cause my diesel's got an 8" lift, 31's, and stacks. Them sliders let me slide right over their grey hair.

    Well if its just door dings from from other rigs, instead of off road. I've heard people bragging on these side moldings, they come color matching for about 130 bucks.100_1791.jpg

    Running boards and nerf bars are for stepping on and looking at. Plus they prevent some of the damage others can do at the mall and grocery store. That's pretty much it. Sliders are for stepping on, looking at, preventing mall damage, plus they provide a lift point for high-lift jacks and they protect rocker panels from rock, stump, and tree damage. The kind of expensive damage that can easily happen away from the asphalt where trucks are their happiest.

    Just get sliders. You can still use them as a step if you really need that much help getting into a Tacoma, plus they offer tremendous protection without robbing you of a shitload of clearance like running boards or tube steps.

    They are called "Sportwing" body side molding, they just ordered them from Sportwing on the internet, but I've seen them on ebay.
