The last good Dodge they built was the 1954 Power Wagon. That was a real truck.

Had 2 '94s, '96, '98, '99, '01, '03, '07, and '12 Rams. All but two were work trucks, still have the '03. Never an issue and would buy another if I needed it.

bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
I still own three dodge trucks,
62 D100 Town Wagon, /6, NP420, 3.55 sure grip, waiting for welding to the rear of the body
62 M37 Military Power Wagon, flat six, 99% original stock.
68 D100 Utiline, 318/727, holley, headers, glasspacks and such

and I had a 07 Ram 1500ST between the 94 Toy pickup and 2011 Taco AC 4.0/6 speed.

The only maintenance the 07 Ram needed was brakes, shocks, tires and front wheel bearings, VERY comfortable truck, just lousy in snow due to 2wd, fantastic for use in NE Texas...and got BETTER gas mileage than the taco.

I had a 2003 ram 1500 with the big horn package. Hemi v8 aboslutely loved the truck it was only 2wd and i really wanted to go wheeling. Well the rear end went out, got it repaired 50000 miles later the rear end went out again! I said screw it I chucked the truck and went to a tacoma because of the realiability and i was getting married and needed to be in the truck for a while. I have no regrets love the tacoma.

Not my truck, just a random pic off the internet.... I used to drive one ( Wrecker ) many many years ago. That truck would drag a tank.

Never honestly had any trouble out of anything on the truck . Besides that one time I blew a head gasket north of 80psi boost . But I don't count it .

Sold my 1990 d250 cummins with over 500k on it , was still running great , with minor repairs ever done .

You can bash or praise any manufactures trucks . I find when owned by a guy that can turn a wrench and has some sense , any make can last and perform well

I used to have a 05 dodge 1500 regular cab, it done every thing I needed to do but the only thing, it was 2wd and I really liked Toyotas. One day, my dad says let's go look for a Tacoma. Around the 3rd stop, I found one. Traded the dodge in, miss the room, pulling power, and the 2 door look. My dad still has his 06 Cummins 6spd dually, about to roll over 200k. So far he's replaced water pump, ac blower motor, and wheel bearings other than normal stuff.

My dad had a 96 2wd 2500 long bed w/ the 5.9 which is the vehicle I learned to drive with. I later inherited it and it became my daily for a while before getting an 02 Taco. It was a great truck with lots of power and had zero issues but was too big for my needs.

I love my Taco to death, but I will say of the American truck makers, Dodge Trucks look like they can break through brick walls.

    But so do Tundras.....

I had an 07 CTD 2500. I should have never sold it for the Tacoma.

At my old work we had 3 2012 Hemi rams we used as patrol trucks. Within the first 60k miles two of them needed new transmissions and one had to have an engine replaced. They all developed a pulsating brake issue at around 20k miles. Our Ford and Chevy patrol trucks held up better under the same conditions (24/7) operation.

Joining the taco force because I like mid size trucks. That and the tacoma reputation.

2005 with 5.9 Cummings. Loved the truck but bought a place in town after my divorce. No need to tow heavy loads and she wouldn't fit in the garage.

My last truck was a 2001 dodge ram. Got rid of it when it hit 187000 miles this spring.
