    Damn dude. I've always wanted LED aux lights but I can't ever seem to justify it as I have no need. I have a pair of hella ralley 1000 lights that use shitty happens but I don't even use those. I had them in my previous truck, don't think I'll even bother with the tacoma

    This is probably a dumb question, but what purpose do the light bars serve?

    Please save "to put out light" responses for a troll post. I'm looking for a functional everyday use/purpose explanation.

    there is no functional "EVERY DAY USE". but for off roading, yes, to serve as light purposes, even during the day so that other off roaders, dirt bikers i.e. can see you through dust

    Interesting. I always wondered what they were for. I couldn't imagine someone needing that for driving on the highway at night, but perhaps people do?

    perhaps yes, like on a long stretch of highway that is very dark(and no one around bc using it on the street is illegal in california to my knowledge), or in windy mountain roads to keep an eye out for deer/elk...
