I'm a KO2 fan, that is what I run. You mentioned you had traction issues, the KO2s look pretty jammed up in your pic and traction would suffer significantly. KM2s would not suffer the same way and would still provide traction, possibly negating the need for a locker, which is why I mention it.

 The only place I didn't have traction was when only one of the wheels was spinning (before the yellow wire mod)...any brand tire would not have helped me there..

I've seen trucks with body lift hit something hard with their bumper(frame) and the body just kinda.....kept going. If it was be if have that body lift taken off asap. Get a suspension lift, do it right.

That doesn't really look like a body lift to me. Could swear I see strut spacers in one of the pics....am I wrong here?

Yeah, me thinks OP got a spacer lift from the dealer not a body lift. I don't think a dealer would sign up for the liability of putting a BL on a truck leaving their lot.

Yes you're right that is a strut spacer you're looking at. That's how much of a noob I am! Just called the dealer, they don't do body lifts.. It's a pro comp suspension lift, 3" front 1" back.

Yeah, I was gonna say... I don't see a body lift but I see a spacer! If it was a body lift those side steps would have a huge gap between them and the cab. Nice truck, looks like you had a blast.

Not necessarily true about the side steps... I think most side steps attach to the cab of the truck on the 2nd gens. So raise the body with a body lift, then the side steps would be raised as well.

But I agree, it doesn't look like 3" body lift is on that truck. If it was, the dealer would to have had brackets made to raise the bumpers and trailer hitch... And the TRD skid would've been below the bumper.

    Definitely a spacer lift.

Awesome pics... Glad you got out and enjoyed your new truck! Looks good!!

Yes..thanks everyone, just to clarify again, I followed up with the dealer and they do not do any body lifts. It is indeed a suspension spacer lift

Nice truck you mentioned getting a locker, is your truck a 4x4?

Yes it is. Trd sport comes with an electronic LSD. Rear locker is only on the OR model. I did look into getting a ARB rear locker. Quote was $2500 CDN. I figured I'll try the yellow wire mod for now.. So far so good

You drive a 2016.. Doesn't it have crawl control? Or is that just on the OR? Either way this mod is (so far) only for 09-15..

That would be the same as what I have in the 2nd gen.. An electronic LSD (not a mechanical differential). What that means is the the traction control is operated through the braking system.. Wheel with no traction has its brake applied and the ones that have traction continue to spin. Now I'm curious if the YWM (yellow wire mod) would be the same setup on the 3rd gen.

I'm guessing no one has dug deep enough into the 16's yet to determine if the electronics are similar or not. YWM is worth it on sports or SR5's on the 2nd Gen so I hope someone finds a way to do something similar for the 3rd's that don't have CC.
