    One slider is on. Not my best work. The wind kept kicking up and messing up the bead. By far, the worst part is the position you have to be in to weld these up, it makes it tough to see what you are doing and hold the torch consistently. I had to grind some ugly off.

    An ugly weld is not as strong. I am sure that it is quite sufficient, but would like to have done a better job.

    Keep in mind, the bad welds can always be ground off and re done. Propper penatration is the most important....More so than looks......wait......were talking about/aboot welding....right?

    I got good penetration. I just got some poppping and pitting from the gas being blown away. No worries. Slider # 1 seemingly has 0 flex in it.
