    What is this gold colored long pin and chain in my bed storage box??? First time I've opened the box. I bought the truck new and the pin and chain are attached to the bottom of the box.

    No accessories. SR5 with tow package. The chain is actually bolted into the bottom of the box. Really weird

    Nope. I ordered the truck, waited two months, and got it right off the translorter. It was still covered in plastic. But never opened the storage box until today, a year later.

    Strange. If it was not bolted in my guess would be a wire feed tool that someone left as a gift from the factory. Weird.

    your truck is NOT factory new, the dealership somehow pulled some type of monkeybusiness there,

    or more likely someone local to you is messing with you and put that there
