It was decided that at least sliders were necessary when doing the 4wd trail to rug road right? Could a really good spotter get a stock taco through without carnage?

I did It the first year with just sliders. I damaged my front bumper. Pinched my exhaust shut. And my 4 wheel drive actuator locked into 4 low. The bumper was my own fault and the exhaust I came off a rock a little to fast and it went right into my exhaust after thr skid plate. Knowing my mistakes I would probably try it again stock. Just take itvallot slower and listen to the spotters more

That sounds like fun. I'm so tempted. I just have no money for repairs :/. I will just take off both bumpers and remove my exhaust.. That way none of those things can get damaged. Also, I'll be the loudest one there.

I won't be able to prerun the trail this year, so the condition of Rug Road is going to be a surprise for the group. I'm sure I'm not the only one that doesn't want to get stuck on the trail after dark because of a stock taco having issues or suffering damage..

Agreed. Please only commit to the 4x4 run if you're confident in your abilities and rig setup. I enjoy wrenching on trucks in the garage, but not on the trail.

If Andrew gets his truck set up by then.. I think we are doing the 4x4 route. if not, I'll just go the back way with him.

As of right now we're planning 4x4. I need to check my school schedule again and make sure I don't have any test or shit due that weekend. I should know here in the next week or so.
