Multiple eye witnesses, not associated with the Seahawks, said there was no racing at all. Jackson pulled out of the facility, got on it a little too much, and misjudged the tight corner leading up to the stop sign. Other team mates were leaving at the same time and all stopped to help. That corner is deceptively sharp, I've been on it many times myself.

From a non eye witness perspective, multiple loud super cars accelerating from a stop can sound a lot like racing.

TMZ also reported Jackson as injured. There was no injury, he walked back to the facility after talking to the police with Seahawks staff. He is fine.

I think he pulled out of the parking lot and got on it a bit to hard, misjudged the corner and lost control. I already said that though.

    Also,

I rebuilt a '74 Nova with my dad when I was 17. I bought the car for $500 from a buddy, it was worth $1,500 or so. I paid to have the motor rebuilt, new carb. Pretty much new everything. I never timed it but it was fast ... and I drove it fast. I sold it for $7500. It was putting out around 400+HP. Honestly, I shouldn't be here.

When you're showing off a bit things you have done a hundred times, like take the same corner, can jump out at you and fuck it all up. Fast.

Because if they said there was racing going on after they let the suspect walk away they'd be in a bit of trouble haha

A quick drive that ends in disaster because of a questionable decision involving a Seahawk running back.

Are we talking about the news story, or the last drive of the Superbowl? :luvya:

    Some really cool shit

I said this very thing several weeks back. All in fun. I've been a 9er fan since the early 70's. They sucked a lot. Hell, most teams suck more than they ever dominate. So, stand by. If your team is hot now, odds are extremely high that they will suck again in the near future. It's cyclic.

18 teams under .500 right now seems to be the norm these days.

Rumors were that he could have played vs Carolina but with the short rest they decided to let him be fully ready to go vs. SF. I wouldn't say he's 100% but he's close.

Steve Largent 30 for 30 .. the Master. I don't understand people who don't understand sports, or the passion behind sports. I grew up wtching this slow white guy become a legend, a 1st ballot hall of famer. When he retired Steve Largent was the best WR in the history of the NFL.

For me growing up sports, football, meant family. It was and still remains the bond between my father and I. My dad had a very rough life growing up, as I'm sure a lot of your dads did too. We could always talk about football, we were always on the same page when it came to the Seahawks. Zorn, Largent, Warner, Krieg, Bryant, Kennedy... they created that. They made it possible.

I was a fan of Largent. Even as a 49er fan. My bond with my dad was baseball.
