Before I take to the dealer I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue on the new 2016 Tacoma. I have the JBL sound system and noticed that XM radio comes in crystal clear, but the FM stations in my local area seem to fade in and out while I drive. On my 2010 Tacoma there were two antennas one on the hood (FM) and one on the roof (XM). Now they seem to have ditched the one on the hood and integrated into the antenna on the roof.

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing issues with FM radio on the 2016 Tacoma. I guess it could be the FM radio here in Albuquerque, NM but I have tried other stations that normally come in clear and I have got the same result of the fading in and out. FM only..... HMMMM

This did not happen with my 2010 which also had a JBL Soundsystem.

I have a noticed a little decrease is reception over my 2001 camry (antenna built in to back windshield), but it doesn't bother me very much as I mostly just listen to my iPod.

Theres an option to turn off HD radio for that channel. My local sports radio station was fading in and out in my 15 taco, i change the option to standard radio and it stopped

I'm in Albuquerque also and haven't noticed any issues with the FM stations, but then again I rarely listen to FM with the free XM trial. Anyway, my XM seems to cut out sometimes when I drive under an overpass or it could be due to all the weather we've been having lately. Either way, it looks like Toyota might've put some flimsy antennas in their new rides, who knows.

I have the JBL. But I didn't know that FM still existed. Will have to try it out some day! #ipod

One a side note. I didn't intend to get the JBL, but that was all they had available with the other options I wanted. I'm glad I did, cuz I love it.
