I have an arm guard she can try out and see if she likes it. I've whipped myself a bunch of times and get nasty bruises.

What release did you get her?

Arrows are still cheaper than ammo.

 

You know what, I'll tag along. I haven't even got to work yet and I'm sick of adulting.

I'll be at my cabin over the weekend. We are going to go out and find a nice spot somewhere to shoot for awhile. You are more than welcome to swing by if you want.

I asked her last night If she wanted a arm gaurd she said no and she wants to learn not to hit herself. I got her a smith brand womens fox release. Its pretty nice. From the feel but its to small for tge length of my wrist/hand/fingers to operate. But she says its great for her. And at this point the arrows are costing me 45 for 6 of them. and half are already broken lost lol. Atleadt with ammo i know im not getting it back

What is the draw length on it? I've got monkey arms so I'm set to 30 and should be at 31. But I'd love to try it out to see if it works for me.

I went on Amazon and bought 12 cheap arrows. Got them for $25. Then I got 12 nice arrors and 6 really nice arrows with broad heads.

And the arm guard is just to learn to shoot until you get used to it. I'm bringing my recurve bow as well if she wants to try it, she'll want to use the arm guard for it the first few times she shoots it. It's only 25lbs so she can pull it for sure.

 

Not sure off the top of my head. I'll check it out and let you know. I haven't shot it in like 2-3 years I try and keep the sthing waxed pretty well. It may be too short though. I'm pretty sure I was close out growing it and you have longer arms than me,,

 

Worth a shot to see if it I can shoot it. I'll let you know sometime and we'll go out and shoot that damn thing. I haven't shot in months.

I mean don't get me wrong, she is gonna wanna go because she loves up North. Hell she is from Linden and I have to MAKE her come back home every time we are up there. So we will see. I can knock the cob webs off my old bow and get some practice in.
