Dealer daily is something the dealer can pull up. I'm not sure who at the dealer has access? Probably the freight or inventory manager.

All I have seen with regards to that is it will sometimes give estimate dates or something. Check other threads. Some have some detail in them from some people who work at Toyota. Maybe someone will chime in here too.

Vins are assigned the moment they hit our allocation. They should have a temp vin right now if it's in there inventory and have an expected build date

looks so good in this lighting! Not a fan of how it looks in bright daylight. This thing seems like it changes colors.

To that I would add don't call the dealer to often and put yourself in a weaker negotiating position if you don't have a signed deal. I didn't call my dealer at all and started receiving calls when they found a truck, Then to come in and test drive the first one they got a week or so before mine came in. When they called, my vehicle was in I went the next day to pick it up.

Personally I think it's just awkward lighting. It never really looks that light to me.

I apologize if this has been answered before, but does anyone know if when ordering you can request it be from a specific assembly plant?

Just curious, which models are built in San Antonio, and which are built in Mexico?

If the vin starts with a 3 it's from the Baja plant

Thanks for the response. I probably should have worded it better. My question was if there are particular models that are built in specific plants (e.g., a access cab SR5 in Mexico, or double cab limited in San Antonio, etc.)? The way that NoDak worded his response I inferred that certain models are built in a particular plant. Or is are all models built in both plants?

If a truck is "preferenced" and comes with extras like AW matts, exhaust tip, tire locks.. Can they be removed when the truck is sold? I have a OR 4x4 V6 on order and the dealer is searching for one in the NY region. I told him that I didn't want the $200 mats and $90 exhaust tip, but I think there are on the order. Are they difficult to remove from the order and put into the dealers inventory?
