Both those choices are illegal in most states. Food for thought.

Taco has been sold. I no longer check this account :(
I have 25% on my front windows and it pretty closely matches the factory privacy glass of the rear windows. Here in Oregon, 35% is the darkest you can go legally for the front windows, but I'd check your local laws before tinting. There are a few shots in my gallery in addition to this one:

It's all about preference: how you want it to look and how well you want to see at night. When I was researching how dark to tint mine, I found that most shops recommended 25% for the front windows if you wanted to match the rears. Most info I found on here and other forums said that the OEM privacy glass is in the 27-30% range. With the extra light entering through the windshield, this balances out the 25% tint on the fronts and you get a more uniform look. The one thing I'll say about 25% is that it's pretty dark when going offroad at night, but most of the time I'm wheeling during the day so it's not an issue for me.

Definitely do not come to Tampa Bay for a visit. You WILL care about local laws then.

Great choice! Pick this leer up for $250. Need a little work but overall great shape and just needs some re-sealing. Happy hunting!
