So I just had my lightbar stolen.
    Wires cut and all.
How do you keep your lightbar secure?
    Thief proof?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You can use security bolts, ones with special heads that require special bits to remove or install. Generally if a theif wants something though there isn't much that will stop them, just gotta count on good people saying something. I am ultra vigilant for shady activity and park accordingly too.

I agree I once saw by Yankee stadium one of very expensive car alarm systems that make it "impossible" to steal the car completely ripped out...horn, wires, and fuses and the car was gone...the owner was pissed. The perps left the stuff they pulled out right where the SUV was parked.

Weld that sumbitch on! Lol. I actually was going to weld my brackets on. By rolling a hole in the bracket and welding it in like a rivet. I plan to one day drill an extra hole in the end cap of the bar and either rivet it in or put pins on it. But my bar has open parts behind the end caps so a regular bar would probably be harder to do that. Maybe remove the end caps and drill an extra hole and make sure it's sealed up. Then that shit ain't goin nowheres! Ha.

Could try a security bolt, but if they really want it they'll just cut it off at the mounts and deal with those later.

I'm like 95% sure someone took it at work..
I work for Chevy dealership and we have multiple car dealerships so everyone parks in one designated area. I'll check cameras tomorrow. Hopefully they work.

I know my fish finder has a lock that locks to the brackets. Maybe I can get one for my next bar.
